Originating from the antiquated technique of litophany, the orbital imagery is worked as a relief into 3 mm thick porcelain plates. According to the relief’s varying material thickness, the light shines through the pictures in varying intensity. The result: a range of meticulously crafted porcelain graphics with unusual depth – sounding out the material’s natural limitations.
